You might have more success if you inseminate a day or two before you ovulate--or think you're ovulating. Sperm can live for several days once released inside the vagina. Don't bank on the day of because there may not be enough "fast" swimmers to get to your egg before it dies.

Apparently, when a woman has an orgasm, the neck of the cervix contracts in such a way it "dips" down into the vagina below it, where under normal circumstances there would be a pool of sperm, if the woman was having sex.
I actually saw a program about this phenomenon, and it was captured on film.
So, with out wanting to be crude, you could try a little stimulation as you pop the Turkey baster in!
You could just find a man though !!

after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

I've been TTC for a year now, I've never tried this, but there is something called an instead cup that makes the 'turkey baster' method easier.

If you have only been trying for 3 months then why are considering self insemination????
You need to allow 2 years to become pregnant.
There is only one way to get pregnant.......have lots of sex!

check out this site- is recommends using a needless syringe- and know when you ovulate - and have the sperm donor not have sex 3 days before- so it will be more built up- then give it a try-D

Eat healthy, plan it round your cycle and keep trying. Your doctor can give you the best advice on this one.
