I think all murder is bad and to the executioners and proponents of the death penalty just shows hypocrisy.

Killing is not right in 2 ways:
Firstly, punishments like death penalty will only teach new generations a new way to avenge. killing should not be made easy. it's better to lock them up for life in a dungeon rather than killing.
Secondly, it's like doing the criminal a big favour. He should be made to suffer in jail all his life. As a result of that, chances are that he may seriously realise his wrong doings. If that happens, that'll set a very good example in a society and will help prevent crimes. If you kill him, you are liberating him.

It isn't wrong to kill someone like Sadam. It doesn't make us bad, or even close.
The difference between killing a murderer and being a murderer is intent. When we kill a murderer, we are removing a dangerous criminal mentality and influence from our society for the greater good of society. Our intention is to save many lives.
The murderer intends to commit acts according to his own will, desires, and agenda, without regard to the greater good of society, but only with regard to himself.
When you kill to defend your life, or the life of someone else, you are killing to save a life. In any case, it is the responsibility of a government to protect the population from those who would kill them. A death sentence is justifiable in many cases.

All the people that have committed murder and sexual related crimes should be locked up in a small sell for the rest of their life, death penalty is the easy way out... just like suicide is...

No I agree with the death penalty if it can be proved absolutely that some one is guilty of murder.
Why should we pay to keep people like that in prison for the rest of their lives.

I don't think that death is the answer, but there's this small part of me (and it is indeed small) that thinks that people like Sudam and Hitler and all the other megalomaniac's out there do deserve to swing, only because of the unsurmountable damage they have done to "their" people, their culture and the world. The things that people like Sudam and Hitler did are inexcusable on any level.
Is the death penalty murder, in 99.99% of cases, yes, but for people like Sudam, no...

Whatever happened to the philosophy of "an eye for an eye"? No, I don't feel the death penalty is wrong. When we put someone to death for their crimes, it prohibits that person from ever commiting another crime against humanity. It is not about revenge, it's about the safety of our way of living.

Hey man let em kill their enemies, just dont show it on tv. Like what in the world. I don't want to see no body get killed especially on a 2 hour news feature of just him in a body bag and on a rope.
Have some humanity people!

No, he that takes a human life for no reason should be made to pay with his own blood. So I support the death penalty.

Death penalty can be looked on as a defence. Just like war.
