The feeling that Oprah truly hates white women came to me after seeing her coldly ask her "friend" Maria Shriver if she cares about all the women Arnold cheats with. Maria was shocked and said that she didn't see how any of that was her business. When Hillary Clinton appeared on the show, with her mother, and was talking about being a friend, Oprah told Hillary that she(Oprah) didn't think she(Hillary) was a friend type and didn't think anyone else did either. Thank goodness for Hillary that she actually had a college friend in the audience that stood up for her, because Oprah was being cruel, as if she was in 2nd grade and trying to make someone feel bad. Then there was the plastic surgery woman with the blonde hair that Oprah savaged. By the way Oprah has had at least two nose jobs, and who knows what else. God I could go on. I do think that she is not free of malice in her heart and a lot of what you see is revenge, what psychologists call leveling. Hate/want to be/both?

I'm a white woman and I've loved Oprah since she first aired a decade ago.. I've never gotten the impresison that she hates whites or any other race. I'm just so curious about how or why you have perceived it this way. Do you think that perhaps you could be misreading her facial expressions and attitudes? I do know that Oprah has gone through a major transformation of late. Not all of it good. But racism? I just don't know about that. You said you could go on.... email me.... I'd be interested in what else you have to say.

I'm Caucasian and engaged so no I do not hate men. Do you treat Caucasian girls differently that would cause you to get this sort of reaction?

Well, I dont think she hates anyone. The one issue I am sure she has it with marriage..She is not married and she likes to use her show to discredit marrige and married women. Study her body language when any guest says how wonderful their marriages are.....she turns green with jealousy. Well Oprah, i like you but u cant have it all...u got money, fame but some pple have a home and they consider it very important to them while it lasts...Dont use ur show to discredit them.

Not having seen the shows which you reference, I cannot comment. I find the alleged comments to be offensive, if they were indeed made.
However, I don't think that your examples support a charge of racism towards Caucasian women. She has interacted with many people over the course of time, and she has frequently put out messages of love and acceptance for all. Just because she is hard on a few guests who are Caucasian does not make her racist. She has been hard of certain black guests as well. I think it has more to do with issues concerning each particular guest.

I've always thought that. Maybe "hate" is too strong of a word, but yes I think she has an attitude towards white women. I don't watch Oprah for many reasons, that is one of them.

No Oprah loves white women, they've made her rich. She hates black women, who thinks she uses her image as the "Wise Southern Black Woman", to pander to her white, middle class, suburban audience.

Do you know how many Caucasian women go on her show? Her only black female friend is Gayle and I am not sure if there is something more to that. I don't think she hates anybody that pays her bills and white women pay her bills.

Oprah just speaks her mind. It doesn't matter what color they are. Come to think of it most of her guests are white women.
