I hope you are right, but I do not see any chance of that happening. The situation has been in a vicious cycle nearly since it began.
Israel believes that all of the Palestinian lands were given to it by God.
It has taken possession of much of that land through military occupation.
Military occupation is oppression.
Oppression breeds hopelessness
Hopelessness breeds terrorism.
Terrorism causes fear.
Fear incites more military action.
More military violence breeds more terrorism.
It seems to me that the responsibility for breaking the cycle of violence has to be with the occupying power.
I hope we do not take as long to figure this out in Iraq as Israel has in Palestine.

I'm glad to hear you're optimistic, and I hope you're right. At some point, all wars end, and if the Hundred Years War could be settled by a peace agreement, so can the 58 year war between Israel and Palestine.

unusual of you to ask us to do your homework for you. Your beginning element might desire to be that there is not any place interior the international referred to as Palestine immediately, except you count huge variety a city in Texas. then you truly can proceed by declaring that the assumption of a "Palestinian human beings" replace into created in 1964. earlier that, the call "Palestinians" stated the Jews who lived in what have been Palestine and then grew to alter into Israel. you could finally finally end up by discussing the priority inflicted by the Arab "Palestinians" on the civilians living in Israel immediately, and how that homicide would be eradicated via a clearcut victory of Israel over the Arab terrorists. then you truly've got an mind-blowing seven-hundred-word essay.

I actually agree with you...... which I might not have ten years ago.
Much has changed over just the past decade... but they still have a long way to go.
If I were to place a bet on it, I'd probably say closer to 20-25 years.
But I think they will eventually put all this hatred in the past and move onwards.

They are like cats and dogs. On the major issues, they are diametrically opposites. There will never be a lasting peace between them, just temporary lulls in the violence.

It is not to our "national interest" to have peace in the Middle East. We need controlled chaos to justify our existence there and control of the flow of oil. Israel keeps things astir and we pay them well to do it.

ONLY if America and the Jewish diaspora leave the region alone instead of influence peddling
PS: Terrorism is killing innocent people for politics. Therefore, America is 100x bigger terrorist than anyone else.

You're crazy, they've hated each other ever since Islam was founded. Peace will not be our lifetimes.

it's not likely that its going to happen anytime soon... israel is not wanted in the area and the arabs are not going to let them just stay and expand... until one population is pretty much dead there will never be permanent peace
