That guy is THROUGH. It's not going to matter if you stay with him or leave him, if continues to drink,, he's gone, even if he's still breathing, if you get what i mean.give him the ultimatum.. you or the alcohol. No "I'll cut down" !100% one way or the other. If he wants to waste his life, that's his decision, if he wants to get it together- help him! . but if he just wants to sit there and destroy his brain and turn into liquid, you got something better to do with your time, I'm sure. You'd be better off single.

What are you doing with your own life?

Think again. You were abused for 11 years, then you had an affair, which probably separated you two, then the affair ended and you two are together again. You sound like you are feeling guitly about being separated and having that affair in the first place. The rule of game states that if you two can't be loyal to each other, whatever the reason, please get a divorce.

I watched this movie about an abusive husband. His wife would not take it any more so he faked an accident. I know what you were thinking. He broke his leg one night while he was drunk ...he got sober.
Any way that is beyond the point. It seems nothing can put you asunder but you got to show him that you have power over him and you can assault him too. You can even knock his balls so hard until he stays home for like a week.
He thinks you are his doormat ? You have to show him you are made of tougher nails

This part of the story sounds familiar from another part.

If that was the case, then you should have left him and never went back to him. What you did wrong was take him back even though he hasn't changed. With your kind of behavior, you should seek counseling.

Plus, if he has done this to himself, why did you put yourself in that situation by still marrying him? You already knew how he was, you were in denial.

Then you should have divorced him before cheating on him. While you give valid reasons not to be with him and what he did was not right. It doesn't excuse what you have done, your just as wrong for being a liar and a cheat.

why would u want to go back to him? why not just get a divorce and move on? your not responsible for any of this that has happened to him, why not get out of this and atleast have a chance for some happiness.

If he's really that bad to you, you should end the relationship long before you seek for somebody else.
