The law on trhe books lists adultery as felony...not lway easy to prove...but it has been on the books since 1971........I am not the judge nor jury here.....there are a plethora of laws outdated that for some strange reason are on the books but not enforced. Anal sex or sodomy in some states is still a crime....however I never hear avout people doing jail time for that....now what? Well i am not an adulterer, however i refuse to live in a state tht tries to come between me and my sheets.

It's ridiculous. First of all, how is the 'law' going to be upheld? And secondly, how many men cheat on their wives every day? The jails in Michigan will be bulging at the seams within months. I dunno, maybe Michigan has such a low crime level that they have to make things up to keep the cops away from the doughnuts.

I think it's ridiculous. Whatever happened to separation of church and state? Marriage is basically a religious union of two people, so what, now the state is going to enforce your vows with jail time? That's just nuts. What's next, if you're not there for your spouse in sickness as well as in health you get probation and community service?

Seems very good. Pretty much better than where I live. Over here in Pakistan, the law says that you will be stoned till death for doing the same.

He did no longer "get in the middle." He did no longer tell California what to do. He expressed an opinion relating to the determination that became made. a protracted way from an "valid endorsement." and additionally you already know this, that's why you have provided no link to assist your assertion.

l do not agree with that. lt's too harsh a penalty and only hardened criminals deserve to be there.
Community service would be a better punishment.
Let them clean jail toilets. lol
