The hinges on my laptop have broken, and despite being able to simply rest the screen against something, I miss being able to open it and have it on my lap anywhere.

Is there some way to keep it remaining upright? With tape or something? I can't afford to have it fixed. Any ideas?

If you want it to stay up when it's past the 90 degree angle, then just attach velcro to the side of the screen and then to the bottom half of your laptop. Then, using more velcro, attach a strap fom the screen to the bottom and allow it to hold your screen open. So the screen will hang open but the strap will keep it from falling flat. If you are on an EXTREMELY low budget, duct tape fixes everything ^_^V

Buy a couple of sky hooks and hang it from them.
