Team india is contemplating playing one of their wicket keeper and seems to be in dilema whom to play and which one to rest as karthik showd great temprament in the last innings he played against south africa and impressed one and all ,IMO india should field both of them and they should seriously consider batting dhoni at number 1 so he can demolish the bowlers by taking the advantage of the field restrictions i think that he gets wasted at number 6 or 7 and we dont get to see the best of him and karthik will do more then a better job at number six or seven and he is a better wicket keeper

i agree with u , dhoni should be playing in the top 3,and at the moment, with the poor performance of indian team, u can consider karthick as a middle order batsman....good point

Karthik really did a good job in the just concluded South African tour.
Dhoni is a great prospect.
No 1st choices.......
Dhoni and Karthik should be in the -playing eleven.
Dhoni at 3 on batting surfaces and Karthik at 4 on bowling pitches

Absolutely! You are right!
But let us not just consider Karthik as only a wicket keeper,
abslutely no doubt that he is not a good batsman and also he is a great fielder tooo.............
And, he can curtail 20 - 40 runs of the opponent,
since, good fielders like Kaif, yuvraj, are in out of squad,
we are lacking in fielding.
Why dont we uitlise karthink.
For me both are best.

Both cannot play in the same team
Only MS Dhoni should be selected. He can do wicket keeping as well as batting

I THINK KARTHIK SHOULD PLAY AND DHONI SHOULD BE GIVEN REST. I THINK KARTHIK IS MORE CONSISTENT THAN DHONI. IF KARTHIK IS PROVIDED WITH SUFFICIENT CHANCES, HE CAN BE THE SECOND WALL OF INDIA.IN COMPARISON TO DHONI HE IS BETTER IN WICKET KEEPING(RECALL THE CATCH TAKEN BY KARTHIK IN A TEST MATCH AGAINST ZIM. IN 2005).

first dhoni should learn to obey the law and then we will think of putting him in the team. cause of him, a policeman got transfered!!! i think karthik should play!! he is a good wicket keeper as well as a good batsman!!!!!

I think both of may rest because world cup is comming so india may be carefull if it is not possible dhoni is best

I think Karthik. Dhoni can hammer the ball hard and might hit it over the boundary on few occasions....but he gotta learn basic cricket....he might do better in Baseball...........a Lot of home runs....some body please tell this to MS Dhoni.......

Both should be playing for India
1) Dhoni is hard hitting player and good wicketkeeper.
2) Kartik is a smart cricketer has well as brillient feilder. We can take him has pure batsman
