>What atrocities?

Perhaps, your history textbooks have been whitewashed for some reason. How can you play innocent?

Tell the exact same words to the ones that the Americans have killed. Hypocrite.

How can you ever admit to war atrocities when you cant even admit to losing a war. That day will never come.

Emtyen69...how gallant of your country to join WW2, only after getting the snot kicked out of them in their own back yard. While you were all in denial the rest of the world knew what was happening and acting, again another case of America being self serving. Funny how your "world" history is always cleaned up to make you all a shinning star, too bad the rest of the free world knows better. It may be collateral damage to some, but to the rest of us it is atrocities.

I;m appalled that people just don't get what war is about. When we were at war, those people were our enemies and wanted to destroy us. Why would we apologize to our prisoners of war? Has any other country ever apologized for what they've done to US troops? The Vietnam POWs were treated worse than animals and in Iraq they just cut off the heads of civilican prisoners. My father was in Korea as was I all these years later. We have nothing to apologize for. War is never nice.

The Americans are the reason you have not been killed in a Nazi death camp or enslaved under a Japanese dictatorship. The Americans are the reason there is democracy in this world. The Americans are the first on the scene after a natural disaster.

The Americans promote peaceful existence. You expect us to give give give and only complain. I ask you... have you ever thanked the US for freedom? Cause without the Americans you wouldn't even be allowed to write your opinion... as terrible as it is, on this site!

IF NoT FoR AMERICANS THEYD BE DEAD ALREADY... FooL! How soon you forget WWII and how the Americans kept Communism in check after... you are a fool.

God Bless America

what does an apology consist of?
some victims take the first offer, which is usually money.
the kind of apologies i grew up on, involved talking heart to heart and the forgiveness began or the learning began from there.

What atrocities?

I can only think of the mai lai attack, but other than that there were situations where some individuals engaged in them.. but it happened on a very small scale, not "atrocities"
