Volume: Number of shares traded across all the stocks, if you are watching BSE or NSE.

Breadth: What are the number of Advancing Issues and Declining Issues. What is TRIN? What is the number of NHs and NLs. It is a bunch of it since many people will interpret it differently.

For Example: The volume today was really great (2x normal), with the breadth showing more advancing issues than declining.

Volume means the number of shares traded.
Breath is the percentage of shares that are trading in the positive region. Breath is positive if the number of advancing shares is more then the number of declining shares.
