Are you on any kind of hormonal birth control? Some birth control can cause spotting between periods.

You can always take a pregnancy test. It won't hurt, but it sounds like you're probably not. Have you had unprotected sex?

If you continue to have spotting in between periods, and a pregnancy test reads negative, you may want to contact your doctor. It could be a sign of certain health problems.

take the test but it may be something else or sometimes peoples periods just go a little funny for no reason, talk to a doctor if your test comes up negative but remember do more than one test theyre not very accurate have about 2-3 on hand

It never hurts to at least take the test. Far less invasive than the doctor's office at this point. I would take the test and then go from there.

I need to take a test too... why don't we do it at the same time and let everyone know the results? I am planning on doing mine tomorrow morning first thing! Good luck!

no harm in taking a test, if its negative your periods could be like this due to stress but if it does not settle see your doctor

You should call your OB and just tell her whats going on. She might be able to stop your spotting.
