Jade Goody has now got to go into a safe house to be protected after certain comments made in the BB house. Hook, however was allowed to preach in the street for a long time. All the hype and tv interviews that were happening at no point gave or allowed an opinion to defend or allow how white Brits feel today Jade. Fair debate?? I believe that the whole Goody /Shilpa thing has heightened the rumblings that are in society of people being fed up with not being allowed to be white and British and proud. Our government wont defend us, allow us freedom of speech, our local council wont allow us to vent frustration on lack of housing for our children when we watch others come into the country receiving handouts and homes. The list could go on. Yes the UK is racist, but who are the racists?

I've seen whats been happening to our country for the last fifty years and I agree it can't go on. We cannot afford the the vast influx of immigrants we have accepted during the last twenty years. This is due to spineless 'governments' who dictate that we cannot complain!!. The Human Rights act is one of the most crushing defeats this country has ever witnessed outside of war. All OUR rights have been ignored so they can state to the world that we are a 'Multi Cultural Society'. Who declared that??!!! We were not asked if we wanted to become 'multicultural'!!!. If we had been, then they would have found out a long time ago that we want to remain British ...and proud of it!!. We would'nt have needed the Race Relations Act and the Quango that now dominates the government. The Government cannot truthfully (I use that word carefully) decree that this is a free country with free speech if we are not allowed to complain that we are being taken over, albeit without force. The Asian community in particular have managed to take over vast swathes of the country (and power) which is more than the Germans did sixty years ago.
I am not Racist. I'm just P****d off about the quantity!!!!!.

not racist but weak
what was was a proud strong country is being weakened by fear and silly officials in fear of their own income if they were to make a stand and say no we cannot possibly manage any more intake they would be better thought of.
then you have the greedy companies inporting staff from other countries to work for pennies they house them and take the wages back off them in rent building up a huge housing portfollio
the people that we count on cannot see beyond their own pockets so sit back and do nothing / but like a ballon getting filled with toooo much water somethings got to give at some point.
this deal with Jade and the other girls has made a small divide bigger any other government in the world would have had the brains to nip this in the bud straight away its a witch hunt a few hundred years ago the girls would have been burned at the stake just so the newspapers / officals got paid and the finger was pointed away from the real evil doers/ Jade been made a example of for beng a little bxxch and a bully and no one has a stong enough back bone to back her up
like I say weakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Its never clear to me what is a racist. There are some countries where I like the people more than others. Am I a racist because of this preference. Colour does not signify a race so how can it make any differece what colour a person is. I had a form recently to check on how convenient I found making appointments at the Doctors. One third of this form was on what colour I was etc. Whatever does anyone need that information for to make a Docs appointment. I put "green" as that was the colour of my tee shirt that day. Are we all going to have DNA test to check our origins?

Everybody's racist to some degree. Even the most tolerant among us are instinctively more afraid of difference than commonality. The issue is whether we allow our primal instincts (which we have in common with the lower species) to overrule our reason and rationality.
People who are not outwardly racist are more inclined to higher, more complex thought than those who are. People like Jane Goody are socially inferior to others through a combination of low IQs, low expectations in life and a poor upbringing by a parent whose lack of self-control is evidenced in the fact she spent the better part of her adult life as a heroin addict.
Still, Ms Goody could have overcome these obstacles. She once worked as a dental nurse, which means she made at least one attempt at bettering her lot.
I hope that her "career" as a "celebrity" is over for good, as she has the potential to be a real person with normal aspirations, good manners and to treat other people as she would like to be treated.
Coming from a working class background myself, I was once chided by a spoilt rich kid for being "common" (though never bad mannered as that was something my parents, as "common" as they were, drilled into me was socially unacceptable). I was cheered when another spoilt rich kid (whose parents obviously shared the same values as mine) pulled me aside and reminded me that "Money does not buy good taste".
I hope that if anything this ruccus will remind us that there's no self-respect in disrespect to others. Quite the opposite. Civility is what separates us from the beasts.

theory on racism in a community is in many circumstances in accordance with human beings memories and what the information media feeds them. For some reason maximum stepped ahead countries might want to point the U. S. and being extremely racist in accordance with information media on events, video clips, comedians, track etc and with the U. S. having a tremendous variety of impact in pop custom in different countries it would want to little question structure peoples view of the U. S. and racism besides the actual shown reality that it would want to be blown out of porportion/ As on your question, i might want to say the 'uk' is racist yet no longer as racist as different eu countries like Spain, Itlay or different countires that dont have a tremendous ethnic makeup in thier inhabitants.

On the whole the UK is one of the most tolerant and accepting societies in the world. I think this might make us more sensitive to racist behaviour. The tabliods always make more of the issue anyway. The racists tend to be in sad little deluded groups who are hated by the majority.
Any brit who thinks that any ethnic group should "go back to their own country" should realise that most white brits originate from europe and scandinavia anyway. Romans, vikings etc.
Racism's a result of a lack of education and a fear of cultural differences.

Jade Goody & CBB are just a reflection of society generally. A lot of people are racist. In Scotland if we called someone an english b@stard we would be charged for being racist & dealt with appropriately so racism & its consequences do not only apply only to people of different skin colour. I think like many others you merely want to vent your frustrations on a group of people that a biased media use as scapegoats. Learn to think for yourself instead of following like a sheep!!!!!!!!
