No absolutely not!!

Take a look at almost any sitcom and it throws many morals out the window.

How about American Idol? They intentionally broadcast trials of terrible singers and even mildly retarded individuals in hopes of their dreams. Then the judges make fun of them (Well Simon at least).

Is it Morally right to make fun of a retarded individual on national TV?

How about South Park? The chicken sex addict episode or heck you could pick another 40 or 50 episodes from that show. Still makes me laugh though.

Of course I think they do ...especially the old TV shows you see from many years ago. They taught everyone right from wrong and also they were funny shows...not serious and still got the message across like "Mayberry RFD", "Ozzie and Harriett", they are old shows but told a story what happens when things go wrong and how family members support each other....plus "Bonanza" the western ranch family show. Each one told a story and that is why people keep watching them they are tired of the garbage on TV now days.

You mean the TV shows that are on these days? Ha! Not by a long shot! Morality on TV has decayed into chaos. Long gone are the days of Leave it To Beaver.
Now cheating spouses, murder and abuse is called entertainment.

No, they are not. In the 50's a lot of films were used to educate people on how they should act in society. Fifteen years later, the younger generation completely rebelled with rock n' roll and the hippie way of life.
