I am trying to find out how many seasons of simpsons dvd's are available, most uk shops only have up to season 9 but some websites claim they have up to season 18? please help as i am all confused!

There are (so far) 18 seasons, America currently showing half way through the 18th. UK as just released season 9 and the US will release season 10 in June 2007, you can get all 17/18 seasons but they are unofficial copies.

The simpsons are currently on their 18th season and are still going. Currently they have dvds up to season nine.
Any dvds you find that claim to be past season nine are just bootleg edtitions.. season 10 is supposed to come out in august of this year I think, so there won't be any new dvds till then.

season 1 - 8 are on DVD
and season 9 is coming out soon

They are currently on season 18, but I think the dvd sets are only up to 9 or so. Anyone who claims that they have anything higher than that for sale is bootlegging. If you search Amazon.com you can find all of them.
