Driver: How am I inconveniencing the other passengers?
Jamie: Through your obstinacy. All you had to do was let me on the bus, and then
you and your “other” passengers could have been away from here ages ago.
Driver: I can’t let you on the bus.
Jamie: Well obviously you can’t let me on the bus now. You’d lose face.
Driver: What the hell does that mean?
Jamie: Language! Think of the “other” passengers.
Driver: Just move.
Jamie: No.
Driver: Look! If you know I’m not gonna let you on the bus, then what could
possibly be gained from just standing there, preventing me from leaving.
Jamie: Well, I’m really just killing time until the next
bus arrives. But I thought I could use the time wisely.
Driver: Go on.
Jamie: You need to be taught a lesson.
Driver: A lesson?
Jamie: A lesson in humility.
Driver: Humility?
