First of all, happy birthday to ur friend. Tell me, why do u want to gift ur friend. birthday is most saddest day of life. A person who lost one more year of his life, is celebrating he has completed his 18years. Ofcourse it depends on what kind of life he is living. Nobody's past is so beautiful and happy, if it is, then there is no point in living. Because he already got all the happiness. People live, to find more happiness more riches. More is expected, that is why people live. past was not great that is why people live. oh i am going far from the topic. Dont make him/her feel that celebration is meant only on occasions. celebrate every moment, every day. On such sad occasions , make a gathering, have a good chat. some very light snacks and drinks. say good bye.....I dont think u need to gift anything.

If ur best friend is a boy , no need to spend much.Give him a tight hug and a cute kiss.Book a table for two in a good restaurant and go for a good dinner with him.Give him a small and cute birthday cake and a rose.
If ur best friend is a girl, gift her a thing which she needs most.This u must be knowing more than me.

You may offer to your 18 years old friend a VERY SPECIAL MASSAGE.... Get him ready first (shower, oil, music, one special table for massage) Previously, cover his eyes, then tell him that you want to make it more special and you have decided to do it with a dozen of hands. Your best friend will have to figure out who are those (6) women in order to make them stopped. At the very end of the massage (one hour later) invite his BEST friend (male or female) to finish up the work. After such a warm up, the best friend does not need more instructions, he should be ready for anything else if desired.

At my 18 i got 18 kicks & punches on my back by my friends that was best gift ever in my life. now after 5 yrs whenever i get memories of that moment i laugh , cry & make search for these a safe place. i havent memory about any gift . give anyone of his intrest --- ur e-mail IDs password; Parkers pen-set; photo frame/ album with ur friends group photo novel; walkman; movie DVD(orignal); song collection MP3 / DVD( in which some songs of only ur choice that he dont like rest of all that he like passionatly evergreen songs). dont go for i pod that is no longer relyable {{{dont spend ur money for his faverate eatables. wristwatch, breslet, neckles are the good option for husbend by his wife.

A cologne maybe, a watch, depends on what he likes. Could be something original also, like a hand made present. Make a photoportrait by yourself and put a photo of both of you guys and sign it or write a nice note to him telling him how he has helped you and you'll be there always to help him, if its what you really feel. lol

Collect some of the photos that you have of your friend, buy a large photo frame that has many windows and fill them with the photos of you and your friend as well as his other friends. Since you have money to spend, there is a website called popart.com where you can turn your friend's photo into an art. Check it out

You should 1st get him a greeting card and some sort of gift that interests him. For instance, if he is interested in music, get him CDs or maybe some movies. Or instead of a gift treat him 2 dinner or lunch.
