I have a concrete verandah 1.8 mtrs wide and there is a crack right across it. I noticed this about 6 mths ago but am not too concerned about it. When the rains come back it may reduce the width of the crack but the crack will always be there.
The only way to fix properly would be to replace the concrete, but if it doesn't really bother you........leave it.

Lots of people are having this problem, it's been reported on the news often. The drought is causing the subsurface clay to shrink and crack your concrete.

write to the heads of state and tell them to stop accepting money from lobbyist groups that contribute to global warming. Perhaps in several years, the droughts across the globe will stop and you will be able to build a floor that wont crack due to these conditions.....

Dose not apply anymorehuh?Pretty soon we will run out of thigs to be proud of in this wide brown country!! Keep things wet recycle all the household water you can! Good luck!
