I think that people should live as they please. Marriage is a serious commitment that shouldn't be taken lightly. If marriage is not something that a woman is truly interested in, then I don't think that she should feel pressured to into it by society.

good! to me marriage is just a piece of paper and should not change the way you feel about your partner once you are married. I have been married for 5 years now and the only reason why was to please my in laws. Once we were married we still felt the same about each other

I think that it's up to the individual. Yes you should live your life as you please as long as it doesn't interfere with the way others live. I believe there are people who promote these statistics as way of justifying their own beliefs. (This is only MY opinion.) If there's a problem with my answer, then the question shouldn't have been asked! That's what I thought answers was all about? To answer questions.

49% of women are married. You know that a percentage of the 51% of unmarried women are having affairs with husbands of the 49% So some of the unmarried are touched my marriage. You don't live life as you please, you live life with some philosphy, for example, don't bloody sleep with married men.

That shows that women do not need to marry because of traditon and custom any more; No one calls them old maids or spencers. Plus they can get the sex and the relationship outside of marrying the guy. Look at Oprah and Stedman. She ain't going for no marrying of her MAN .
