Yes, it is one of those medical oddities.
Thanks to DNA it doesn't happen anymore, but in the past a child was born with both sex organs or with none apparent ones. Often doctors, not very trustworthy ones, would not tell the parents and operate on the child to free up or remove one set of sex organs. Since the baby still has stem cells inside it it's body can adjust to the changes. However, the genetic sex link is present inside of every single cell in your body and it cannot be denied. There have been a few cases where the person had sexual reassignment surgery to return them to the sex they wanted to be and sometimes that is determined by how that person thinks of their self and feels.
The sexual variations you describe are genetically possible as a result of an error in gene coding or a mutation. Which is how most genetic problems occur.
When people and their parents discovered this problem they sued the doctors and raised a lot of fuss, so the practice of doing sex assignment surgery after birth has stopped. Before the baby is even born an amniocentesis (sampling of the amniotic fluid) can be used to find out a child's sex before birth. Since it is a genetic test determining the babies sex is an exact science with no room for questioning. So if the baby is born with problems with their sexual organs the doctor can fix it properly.
Since you put this in the Gay section I have to point out that sexual reassignment and the desire for it is different than being gay. Gays want to be with a partner of the same sex. They don't want to be or appear to be people of the other sex; that is a transgender issue and entirely separate from any gay issues. I am making no judgments on Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual people nor am I making any judgments on those with gender issues. I am simply stating that the physical mistake of genes and doctors have created some transgender issues.

That is the most confusing thing I ever read!!!! Yes it does happen, I saw a thing on Sally JR a few years ago about it. I actually heard that Jamie Lee Curtis (halloween movies) was born with both sets of bits, hence the name Jamie. I aint sure how true that is tho?

Though rare there are such cases. Some people are born with both male and female sex organs. I forget the term but its a fact.

It's called an intersexed condition and there are many causes and many manifestations of being intersexed. The last numbers I saw were 1 in 1000.

yes, this could happen, as this malfunctions can't be realized at birth, but can be recognized later on by the way of acting.
that you find that a girl acts as if she is a boy, then a surgical interference takes place after seeing a doctor.

I have heard that this is more common than we may think. I have seen two cats born on my sister's farm that appeared male, but when taken to the vet to be nuetered needed to be spayed as well! I also have a male friend who was born with his penis attached to his stomach. It took several surgeries to correct it. I don't know if this anwers your question, but that's the best I know.

If a female was inter-sexual she would probably not menstruate. And having a mustache makes no difference, lots of women have mustaches.
Oh, learn to spell.
