But in fact it is slightly less than that cos people now plan births to coincide with notable days.
A interesting aside - in any group of 30 people there is nearly 100% chance 2 people with have the same birthday. This is due to the laws of permutaions.

Around the world probably hundreds of thousands have Jan 20 as their birthday.
