I'm a 28 year old Guy and Ju-on which is the Japanese version of the grudge was scaring me for months after I saw it. My 26 year old brother in law said the exact same thing.

I understand that the Grudge is the US version of Ju-On. I haven't seen Ju-On, but the Grudge haunted me (gave me nightmares) for months!!! I still have trouble looking into my attic! My mom tells me that Ju-On is actually better, but I, who have always loved a good scary movie, can't bring myself to watch it.

a japanese movie called audition
it' was freaking scary, very good story telling in my opion
and japanese version of the ring is very scary
as far as american movies, I like saw, it's not to scary, but pretty cool
