Im tired of these people getting catered to, and not paying taxes, getting government aid, and having a million kids that us hard working tax payers flip the bill for. What gives them the right to demand ANYTHING from us!?

Legal immigrants don't pay taxes either, at least for the first 12 months. Then they sell their business to a friend or relative who is a new legal immigrant, so they don't pay taxes for another 12 months. The insane number of loop holes and tax dodges that the upper class takes advantage of means that many of their assets go untaxed every year. Yet you are worried about the illegal immigrants working in our fields and sweating in our restaurants for less than minimum wage?
Being born in this country should be considered a privilege. You are entitled to many rights that others in the world do not enjoy, do you really want to deny them the chance for a better life?

An immigrant is someone who uses our legal immigration process. Applies to be a citizen, pays their dues, and waits their turn like the millions that have gone before them..."True LEGAL" immigration. Why should your documentation be given priority over those who originally applied for citizenship the correct way w/out the Dream Act?
Bottom line fill-out the required documentation to enter the United States. Americans do it everyday when moving or visiting countries around the world. If they don't they get deported, so why shouldn't anyone else who enters the United States illegally not be treated the same? All the energy expended protesting and article writing could have went to filling out the required documents to become a "LEGAL" U.S. Citizen.

I don't think you really understand what you mean by the word "right."

They want to come north for a better life, so they do. Badda bing badda boom. What's so hard to understand? Since you label yourself as "hard working," you'd do the same if you were born into their circumstances.

I think you may be exaggerating the government aid and "a million kids" thing. May want to check your facts on that.

Also, if they could become citizens, they would pay taxes. But how can you taxes if you legally don't exist?

On the other hand, the increase in population they do fuel by passing over the border keeps our economy percolating along. There's no other group of people who want to do the sorts of jobs they do for low wages.

By the way, did your ancestors come over on the land that used to a bridge between Siberia and Alaska like mine?

It's the same thing that gives you the right to come here and speak as you wish-the will of the people. If you don't like things the way they are, you can participate in politics and vote.
The people of America decided to give immigrants the things that they get- that means people like you. They aren't demanding anything. They just want to be treated like any other American and take the benefits that are offered.

Until you walk a day in those shoes you need to shut up already. How do you know they dont pay taxes, and you can't get government aid unless you have a social securty card, and more than just illegals immigrants are popping out more babies they can heandle. Look at the whole picture.

Anyone interested in this topic should consider everything that it takes for a person to wake up one morning and decide to leave his/her family and walk or hitchhike to the middle of nowhere, cross a national boundary knowingly and willingly, then continue walking and hitch-hiking to the closest city.

All of them became a law breaker the moment they stepped over the border and did so knowingly and with intent to break the law. They continued their criminal behavior every day they stayed and each time they gathered in groups looking for work.

The appropriate punishment on first offense is full identification with photos and fingerprinting, and deportation. No jail time, no fines. You can't really punish someone for wanting a better life, but you can and should punish for having a cavalier attitude toward the laws of a sovereign nation. But it should be a federal level minor felony.

The second time we catch them, we can identify with nothing more than fingerprinting. Second offense is jail time and fines. Third offense even more.

For any illegal who commits a violent crime, appropriate punishment should be comparable to felony + felony, felony + misdemeanor, since they are already committing a felony by just being here.

Any illegal who is responsible for an accidental death gets automatic manslaughter or depraved indifference, since the death occurred during the commission of a felony.

I always think of if I moved to France or something, I'd be expected to learn the language and the culture and not have the culture cater to me. I think anyone who moves to another country ,for whatever reason, should learn that much. I'm sure someone will say that's a load of crap but, whatever.

The right to choose to come here and want a better llife that they have back home. Also the right to come and do all the dirty jobs you and others like you aren't willing to do, like work in construction, cook your burgers, or clean your toilets.

Good question. Probably because they come from socialist states they have an entitlement mentality. The government takes care of them like they were little children. Look at poor urban democrats in this country. It's the same way of thinking.
