Milestone it is. But the question on the way towards what? During his tenure howsoever tyrranically he ruled but it is a fact that he managed to keep order in the society where sectarianism is on the rampage these days. If the number of deaths of "innocents" is any parameter then these days these deaths are much much higher than they ever were. Call it a milestone if you are powerful and adamant on imposing your likes.

Importance to a person is given because of an ideology. Those who support Saddam's ideology he was a hero. Those who not he was a zero.

The terrorism has increased after the death af him.. Sadam killed
around 200 people... but after his death its going to rise.. Sadams execution is going to be another mile stone, where the terrorism is going to boom..

No at all....it leads to sectarian violence.....then leads to turmoil in whole middle east. then it spreads to europe and usa which ultimately turns roots third world war
