Having a new baby is stressfull. If your gone at work all the time and she's always there with the baby I'm sure she feels like she has to do everything and your getting off scott free. Don't take it personally it's something every woman feels I think. Get someone to watch the baby for her for a few hours during the week so she can have a little time to herself. That is the best gift for both of you right now.

You can go on and on about what time you leave for work and what time you come home and how many days a week you work.
But you need to remember that your wifes job started the minute that baby was born and NOT STOPPED SINCE.

You and your wife could try alternating the nights you get up with him, you could get up every other night while she gets up the rest of the nights.
That is what my husband and I do, as we both work and are both exhaused at the end of the day. (I teach high schoolers and he is a contractor.) We both have to wake up at 5 in the morning and he takes our daughter to day care and I pick her up in the afternnoon. He watches her while I grade papers and make dinner. I watch her when he wants to nap or watch tv. Then we both clean up the house, grocery shop, etc. Maybe you could both also split chores around the house.

While you're out of the house during the day working at your job, she's at home working those same long hours doing housework and raising kids. You should share the night-time duties.

Does your wife work too? Because you may consider that she might be just as tired as you are. You shouldn't complain about having to get up with your child. It's your CHILD. It's a precious gift and you shouldn't complain about it. Grow up.
