It seems that I have offended some people by this question (evident by some of the answers). I should clarify that I am not judging their beliefs as stupid, but was simply making an observation and was wondering if anyone else observed the same thing, or not. I apologize to anyone that might be offended by my question. If you are intelligent and born-again then you know I am not referring to you. In retrospect I should not have phrased the question so that it points to one specific group. The question would have been better put as follows: "Are born-again Christians who believe the Bush-Cheney lie tactics, don't beleive in dinosaurs and think that by going to Church you won't go to hell, as stupid as they seem?"

Their Logic seems to be skewed.
I knew a Born Again Christian that claimed that since he was "saved", even if he Committed Murder or some other Heinous Crime that he would still go to Heaven, since he'd accepted Jesus as his Personal Savior.
What?!!? Definitely something wrong with the Belief System there.

kelly bundy? "Stupider"??? Thats proof anyone can be a moron! And no, many are not stupid at all! Its one thing to bear a name and another to actually live that name. Calling oneself something does not make it so! I am a christian and I would bet my house my IQ is higher than the 3 of you together, dont be so ignorant. Wisdom is not learned its givin.

Hopefully not all of us, but I know what you mean. As a Christian I myself am offended by the stupid among us. They are NOT helping.

Excuse me, but why the negativity toward christians? I am one and considered relatively intelligent. And most christians I know seem to be doing extremely well financially, too, which is a testement to their intelligence in choosing profitable employment.
