Yes, my 2 sister-in-laws are into it. Here's the scoop:

They are a Multi-level marketing organization that resells services, like cell phones and satellite TV. They do actually sell legitimate products, so it's not a scam.

However, what they do resell, is no cheaper than if I had gone to the store and bought it. Just standard retail price.

Where you make your money is that you get a commission or fee for every service you sell. If you sell a cell phone and 1 year contract, you get a small cut of each monthly bill the person pays. Since the prices are nothing special, you are basically just selling to friends and family and yourself.

You also make money by getting a cut from the people you sign up underneath you in the pyramid, who also sell the services. You get a part of the commissions on the stuff they sell, and the membership you sell them.

It's a legit business, but not a particularly lucrative one, unless you got in early.
