Even after being a maharashtian Marathi is my weakest subject. I m presently in 9 std and our portin is too difficult to mug up. Also the paper of marathi is too lenghty to complete and I always leave 4-5 marks question. what is the solution for this?

To score more marks in Marathi is an easy job. U will have to score well in objectives where u can get full marks. I mean to say for any language if u wanna score u need to be thorough with all Ans in 1 Sen., Fill in the Blanks, Complete the Foll., Who Said To Whom, Grammar.......
These are the key areas where u will be able to score full marks. whereas in brief ans u dont get full marks no matter how well u write them. U told that u hve a problem in completing the paper because of its length. I wud suggest u to start ur paper with Objectives first. Since u r in 9th u hve 2 be fully prepared with ur complete syllabus. But 2 start with is with the objectives so that u can guarantee urself with these marks. Then go on brief answers......... Try 2 read ur text buk well & remember Poems & Abhangas to solve objectivess

I would suggest you start learning to speak in Marathi first.
I take it you dont speak your mother tongue at home
Watch the marathi news, try reading marathi news papers etc, this will improve your usage of the language. Once this happens you will be more comfortable and confident to tackle your Marathi paper.

i was also so weak in tamil even though i am a tamilian but i have scored above 90% in my acedamic exam because i spent more time for studing tamil
and also i read lot of tamil grammer book,also general story books in tamil and daily newspapers in tamil. so you can also get good marks in marathi by following the same in marathi. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!
