16 to 22, we actually dated most of that time too. Of course, after 6 years it ended like a Jerry Springer episode. He cheated with a member of my family, eeewww!!!!
A year later, I still thought of him constantly. WHY!!!!!! My subconscious helped me out. I had a dream that I found a stray dog. He was so beautiful and so loving but he was injured and dirty. I kept trying to get him to come home with me so I could take care of him but he would not come with me. He wanted me to follow him but he kept dodging in and out of traffic. Then I saw him on the other side, still dirty, still injured, but tail wagging and seemingly happy. After that it did not hurt anymore.
At 16 he had a pure heart, at 22 not so much. I still wonder if it's possible to love like that again (us at 16, 17). Or is that only reserved for first love?

The longest serious real-life crush I had was for several years. I fell in love at first sight with him at the age of 14, and was still very interested when I met him again at 21. I haven't seen him since but I still think of him, and every guy I fall in love with is a little bit like him in some way.
My most memorable crush was a boy I fell in love with during a 40 minute train ride, and I still want him.

The person I had a crush on was a boy in my IPC class, I sat beside him and when I saw him I knew I had a crush on him. After we started to work together as partners on projects we became close friends and talked all the time. He was intellectual, cute, and talented the same type of boys I'm attracted too. I was around 14/15 when it began and it lasted the entire school year.

My former girlfriend who became my wife and soulmate, the crush is still going on. I still flirt with her now and then and I hope I won't be too old anytime soon to stop doing that.
