does anybody else agree with me. i cant stand all these people who are so smart yet follow what their partie dictates blindly. instead of choosing a candidate who might be an independent and be the best candidate they will who with the moron and idiot their partie picks. when will this country grow some balls and speak for itself instead of what some carrer politicians who only goal in life is to move to the top of the political ladder.

The two party system is a failure. whats the point of having a democracy if we only have two choices? It doesn't make much sense. all it is, is a two party dictatorship. a true democratic republic would allow third parties ( many of whom have better policies ) to get into the game but thats not the case since our current electoral college is specifically geared to only to have two parties.

I agree... I'm registered as an Independent and have voted along both major party lines and the Independent party, too. It's everyone's duty to follow the candidates and their issues and voting strictly according to party is dumb. Independents can't vote in primary elections but I hope that more people register this way so that their voice becomes stronger as a way to buck the traditional system.

People vote party-line because they don't want to take the time or brainpower to educate themselves on where any of their candidates stand in the first place. If they did, independent candidates would have a chance of breaking up the s.hitty two-party system in this country.

You're right. Many people will vote for the person of their party regardless of the issues.
