40% is not as bad as having a 60% chance of rain because 40% is lower than 50% so 50% is more than 40%.

40% chance only means that, based on previous known models of similar weather patterns, there is a 40% chance that rain will occur. It's not a measure of how much rain. There's a 60% chance it won't.

yup it is.It is at least 40% alot or 4 out 10 or 40 out of 100 alot.
Now, this is were you have to make your mind up,do you want 40% alot ot 50% alot.The difference is 10% alot.This is 1 out of 10 or 10 out of 100 alot.
Chances are that it will not rain at all,at least for your sake ,I hope not.
Don't go out if it does,you will melt.!!

I know, all these different answers are confusing you. but I know the answer, the answer is that there is a half a chance that there will be rain (meaning that there might be rain).
