Should India join any Entertainment companies like apple to get I-Pod and new generation stuff. Explain it.?

I know Inida have but when the craze is over in other countries they get at that time. I am talking about that should they join them directly to get stuff when it comes to market?

India has i-Pods and all that good stuff that goes with it, ya it is little expensive but you can have it if you want.
