why bootable disk is recomended and not non boot able disk

the Operating System's CD By which the OS is Installed Directly on the herd Disk is called Bootable Disk.
The system Start up Files like drivers of CD Drive, IDE and Display held on it. first it creates the space for installation and then install the OS.

Non bootable Disk is the normal disk which don't start the system with out any OS.

Boot able disk consists of operating system files for loading operating sys. into memory,that is why bootable disk is recomended and not non boot able disk.

boot is one which can be used to start your system if your system doesnt start by itself.
it is also useful if you want to format your system. book disk with operating system, will start your computer from the disk and prepares your computer for installation.
