But those are my feelings. I do not slander homosexuals or make life hard for them but I cannot for the life in my find it acceptable.
That to me is morally okay because these are my inner feelings and I know that other people have their feelings that are different.
The point is can my feelings be respected in society as much as someone who feels differently or are we to be given only one attitude of accept it or else?

I agree with you. The sad fact is that in America, gays are only 1% of the population!!! They get more press coverage and have more influence than any other group that size, and it's out of proportion and out of control.
The silent majority feels pretty much as you and I do, but we're SILENT! And SOMEONE is trying very hard to brainwash us into a 'new' philosophy for some reason.

I just said this in another answer, but I'll bring it up again.

People need to stop being so thin-skinned.

If someone wants to be homosexual, let them be homosexual. If someone else disagrees with it, then let them disagree with it. Fair is fair.

I say what I think. If someone doesn't like it, or is offended, then that's their problem. If they're looking for an apology, then they'll be waiting a very long time.

I have no time for bigotry, but that's my choice. I have better things to do with my time than hate a group of people for whoever or whatever they are. However, I respect each person's right to be who and what they are, and that includes bigots.

If I disagree with someone, then I disagree with them. If they don't like it, again, that's their problem.

I don't agree with you on this topic but you asked a great question. I hate it when I'm in those types of situations too. Society is messed up in the way that it IS "accept it or else" but things could always be worse..ya know.

One positive that you can think though, is that overpopulation is being slowed a bit by it. That's always good.

Well, if you cannot accept homosexuality, then don't be a homosexual. That's really all you can do.

I respect your right to have your own opinion, but if what you are saying is that all homosexuals should remain hidden away so not to offend you, then that imposes your opinion on their life.

Please, you seem educated, do some research on the subject. Homosexuality is NOT a choice.
It is the way a person is born.

I am bisexual and I know for a fact that I didn't choose to be this way. I've been like this since I was very little and the only reason I'm not gay is because I tried to fight it all my life. I would love for things to be simple and to be a "regular" guy but they're not and now I'm OK with being bi because I know God loves me the same. And may he have mercy on any-ones soul that HATE ANYONE.

Nope. Your fine. As long as you stay out of my business and don't try to interfere with my happiness, we'll be happy next door neighbors. This is why its called civilization. You have the right idea. I personally despise lots of people. Republicans for instance. Filthy, child molesting Republicans. I tell my kids that they are not allowed in their friends homes if their parents publicly identify themselves as Republicans. I mean why risk it, right? Anyway, I'm with you. I say let those filthy, child molesting Republicans do what they want. We will be extra vigilant around them, and not throw eggs at their houses, or key their cars. This is what separates us from the animals.

Your feelings are as important as anyones elses. As long as you are respectful with them and treat others the same way you would want to be treated.

We all do not have to agree with each other, we just dont have to hate and want to kill each other over our dissagreements.

Your question makes no sense because the majority of people do not agree with homosexuality. Why would your view not be accepted in society?

No.
You are saying other people's feelings are wrong,
but then saying you are not "slandering" them.
You inately feel they are wrong because they
have a feeling that is not one you have. When someone
is not hurting someone else, why should anyone respect
your right to judge them immoral? Grow up, really.

You should respect other people,if
their gay or not.It doesn't harm you,so
don't worry about it.Believe what you
want to believe.Just let others be the
way they are.Disrespecting and insulting
them would be discrimination.Treat others
the way you want to be treated.
