I heard it can do that for some women.
For me it has had no effect on my weight.

I had to experiment with several bc pills before finding the right one. The first pill did cause significant weight gain and mucho appetite, same for the next. I take Zovia now. It has been hard to lose weight, but my appetite actually seems lower w/Zovia. Perhaps its water or that I gained so much at first that its taking longer to lose. could be the yucky 'bloat' factor
My daughter is having a hard time losing, I think hers is bloat.

The pill has been known to make women gain weight. It doesn't increase appetite though. The pill doesn't hinder weight loss though.

When boredom, depression, or maybe stress causes cravings, find a nonfood way to meet them such as going for a walk, calling a friend, choosing a bath, reading a book, or even doing some yoga.
