Usually the male. Men have the easier part of getting to come. That is a sexual way.
In the bible, male was created before female, since Adam came before Eve.
In most animal worlds, the female comes first. Unless the female is ready for the male, usually the male does not get to come at all.

Male came first into the world and God saw that he needed a partner, so created female. Male and female he created them. Woman was made out of one of Adams ribs, and also have you noticed that in 'female' there's the world male meaning he was first and more dominant.

Well the bible says the man came first but i think it would make more sense if the woman came first because if the woman was the one who came first then she can have the baby and thats more true for now and actually possible then if the man came first and the girl came from his rib (thats what the bible says) and plus the virgin mary had jesus without doing anything with the dad

female, no doubt about it, we all male humans have nipples and have no need for it, therefore at some point in evolution there was only one gender that could be reproduced within itself, just like cell multiplication, I believe that all living beings forms alike as chromosomes take different route at the determination point of gender .
