Pampers or luvs, preferable the ones that kind of stretch because they fit better. And Desitin is the best diaper rash ointment. And contrary to popular believe, baby powder is not good in the diaper area. It absorbs moisture but holds it close to their skin instead of letting it absorb into the diaper. It's also a good idea to lie them on a blanked with out a diaper every few days to give their bottoms some air.

depends on your baby. my son was 8 lbs but couldn't fit into size 1 diapers yet so we had to buy newborn size diapers for 3 weeks and actually white cloud worked best for him. since he's been in sizes 1 and 2 only huggies seem to fit him right. we tried pampers swaddlers but they just didn't work. we also tried target brand that someone gave to us. each baby is different. he only had a little diaper rash once and we used desitin. don't use baby powder anymore, the particles aren't good for the developing lungs.

When my daughter was a baby she couldn't use Huggies diapers, they made her bottom break out in a very angry red rash we used either pampers or luvs. I used Desitin ointment for her rashes.

I would honestly have to say it depends on the sex of your child. I have found Huggies to be the best for boys. They seem to hold more "male" urine. If you have a female , unfortunately I can only give the advice of my friends, and that is Pampers are bettter for girls. So I hope this helps. At the stage we are at, all I can recommend is a mattress protector. Otherwise, every time there is a leak, it is a major chore to try and get rid of it. In the long run , it is much easier and cheaper to purchase a mattress protector

Huggies are the best nappies. I only used Johnson's baby powder and they never got Nappy rash. Powder absorbs the moisture where as cream soaks into there skin along with the wee so that area doesn't get to dry out.
