My husband and I have decieded we dont want children. There are a million reasons why we dont want any. We have so many people tell us we will regret this years down the road.

Im sure a part of me will always wonder what it would have been like to have kids, but the part of me that dosent want children is bigger.

If you dont plan on having kids, what are your reasons?

I do want to have kids (good thing, because I'm pregnant), but I think if you don't want kids that it's very wise of you to not follow all these peoples' advice and just do what's best for you. Even if they did turn out to be right about the regret (which I doubt, you know what's best for you) it would be better to realize later that you DO want kids and then have or adopt one than to have one and years later realize you just weren't made to be a parent. Good luck, and know that those people are just trying to share something with you that is a joy to them, but politely let them know that it is your decision and your decision only.

been married for years and won't be having any two legger kids!
I just don't see the need to replicate myself or him. It's not that we wouldn't be great parents (nothing but spoiled 4 leggers and flyers here!!) because we would.

75 years ago, they needed children to help take care of the farm and do the chores. Not so today. The only reason to have children is to keep a surplus of Caucasians on the planet! ha ha.

If you don't want kids don't have kids. No one's paying any attention any way.

This isn't me personally, but my bro and sister in law decided 10 years ago they didn't want kids, I don't think anyone knows why really, but my b-i-l just isn't a kid person, I can tell that now, and my hubby and I have only been married just over 2 years. They seem perfectly happy with just them, their cat and 2 dogs, those are their kids, and regardless what everyone else thinks, they seem happy with their decision. And always remember that, it's your decision, not anyone else's.

I just have to say this.
But just because you don't want kids doesn't mean you're NOT.
Things happen. Most of us are mistakes... lol.
