The idea of our living reality actually being a dream isn't as far fetched as it sounds.

Ever have a lucid dream? A dream, in which you know you are dreaming and are able to control said dream.

I have been fortunate enough to enjoy two lucid dreams in my life and I can honestly say it's hard to tell after a while that you're still dreaming.

Just like the idea of the Matrix. In our minds, what we perceive as real is whatever we can feel, experience etc.

So in a lucid dream, you walk over and touch a tree, it's going to feel like a tree. How is this possible? Because you know what a tree feels like and your brain is relaying this to you. So anything you see, feel, even smell and taste is all real to your mind, but is only an activated memory.

Also, it is possible to remain in a lucid dream for hours, days, even years if controlled right.

In our dreams, time has no meaning. remember how people say our brain is the fastest processor ever known? Well, it is very true. Most dreams always seem to last longer than the time we actually been sleeping. How?

What I figure, the mind that we know in the waking hours is only a tiny part of what it is capable of. Our subconscious is constantly moving at light speed and while dreaming, that is the part of our minds that we use. So if you think faster, time slows down.

I can go on for a bit longer, but im tired of typing. lol

It would be wonderful if we could all dream of a future with no violence, no more hate, no more envy, food, clothing and shelter for all. and universal caring for the weakest and poorest in our world society.

We could then work to make it not only a possibility but reality.

I've considered the possibility, but I don't think I've ever managed to convince myself of it.
