The ipod nano is great, I have one. There are other mp3 players out there that do the same thing, but I tried 4 different ones and they all broke for no reason at all, so I now have an ipod nano. It's good, nothing wrong with it.

Limewire does give viruses. It is illegal to use it to download music anyway. Basically anything you would use Limewire for is illegal. So be a good person and buy your music. If you really do like the music, then paying for it will support the band and enable them to create more music for you.

iPod shuffle is more for jogging and exercising. It's very small and very portable, but since it's so tiny, you don't get the screen and you can only store a small amount of songs, about 150 songs or so. It's also much cheaper than the others.

iPod Nano is also small, but it's a little bigger than the shuffle. The advantage is that it has a screen so you can see what song you're listening to. Since it's small, it also doesn't have a huge hard drive so you can't store a huge amount of songs.

Creative Zen comes in several varieties. There are some that are similar to the iPod shuffle and iPod nano. It's cheaper than it's iPod counterparts. Advantage of the Creative is that you don't need to use iTunes.

Can't say anything about limewire because it's illegal to download songs using peer to peer programs.

Just read the manuals that comes with the MP3 player. With iTunes if you want to transfer a song from a CD to iTunes, you can just click and drag, and then from iTunes, you can either have it sync with the computer or you can manually click and drag songs to your iPod.

Firstly Amy ... I'm a retailer (I sell ipods and mp3 players) and if I had the choice ... I'd be buying the Creative Zen
But it really comes down to your preference and in a lot of cases price.
Ipods use iTunes to firt convert and then to load music files where most other MP3 players you can just do a copy and paste of your music onto your MP3 player and away you go

Limewire doesn't give you viruses ... but some of the people who use Limewire have virus infected computers ... you just need to make sure you scan EVERY file you download BEFORE you open it
I have a special folder set up for my Limewire downloads and when I have 5 or so files in it I transfer them to another folder ... that way if a scan says I have a virus I can delete the whole folder and don't even have to go into it ... it's all about being careful
