i know it's uncomfortable now, but it will get better. they will not permantley go away, but once the swelling goes down, you wont even know they are there. get some tucks medicated pads from the pharmacy, and try taking some laxatives to help soften the BM. take half the dose that is recommended on the box, so you dont end up spending half the day in the bathroom. take care, i hope you feel better soon! (hemorrhoids is one of the worst parts of post-partum! who would have thought?)

The swelling should go down soon, but the actual hemorrhoids won't go away without surgery. If you're bleeding, you run the risk of infection, so I would schedule an appointment with your doctor soon to have them looked at.
Here's a few things you can do to help them for now:
*Eat a lot of fiber and drink plenty of water. Staying regular will keep you from straining when you have a bowel movement. If you're breastfeeding, ask your doctor what you can take if you need a stool softener.
*Don't wipe with toilet paper. Use Tucks pads or baby wash cloths soaked in witch hazel.
*Use a cream like Tucks or Nupercanal. They contain numbing agents that will help with the pain. Preparation H is not nearly as good in my opinion.
*Take ibuprofen every 4-6 hours round the clock (you might be doing that anyways if you've just given birth). It will help with the swelling and pain.
I hope you're feeling better soon!

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/HemorrhoidsTreatment
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Every woman is different! For instance both of my sisters suffered from this when they gave birth! The younger of the 2 is fine about 2 months after having her child (mom of 4) & the older one of the 2 has the problem constantly (mom of 4)! It depends on lots of things like the way that you eat! Just try to eat more foods that will help you go to the bathroom normally! After awhile it will get better! My baby sis eats very well and maybe that's why she doesn't suffer from it for to long! I hope you get better!

These unfortunatly will never go away. Dont listen to these ppl here. And the lady that claimed to be a nurse....she should have had better advice if she really was a nurse. They will over time go down but will never completly go away. Talk to your doc esp. since they are bleeding. These sound like they need to be removed. Embarassing surgery but your tushy will thank you! You can also try a stool softener to help until you get the prob fixed also.

I got hemorrhoids after my first child was born (4 years ago) and I still get outbreaks. They will eventually go down but they wont go away, unless you get them removed. Don't worry, when they go down you cant tell that you have them, It goes back to normal.

er i had hemorrhoids while prego, and once i ate something that didnt agree w/ me and i had the craps for a few hours. because i crapped so much i didnt need to crap for like 3 days and it gave my body time to heal up the worst of it
sorry i am extra gross!
so my solution is this: maybe take a laxative, your gonna be in pain for a couple hrs but then no pain for 2-3 days!

My wife had that problem after every child, we had 3. They will go away after awhile. Use Tucks from the drug store. They help to soothe.
To have a healthy body and household for you and your child go to www.tagurit.net that is a precursor so information can be shared with you.
GOOD LUCK~!!!
