Of course, I do. I'm friendly to everybody, but when I get bored of normal people, I find that the silent and independent are sometimes the most interesting. I have met some really good friends this way.
However, NEVER talk to bums. Even if they talk to you first, don't get into conversations with them. This one guy tried to convince me he was an outcast priest on a mission for revenge against the Catholic Church. He said it was for murdering his brother in a conspiracy to cover up evidence of alien life claiming to be beings of God (or something like that, but it's hard to remember stuff that doesn't make sense). Then he said he knew me, like I was his successor and we were meant to meet, and THAT'S when I faked a phone call and ran away. Seriously, I'm not making this up. I never saw him again, thankfully.

I discussed this question with the voices in my head. After a rather heated debate on whether I am or I am not weird , odd, and or strange, a vote was cast and the outcome came out 5 to 4 that I am indeed weird, odd, and or strange. A motion was made to change the words weird, odd and or strange to unique, unusual, and or extra-ordinary. The motion was 2nd. The motion was open to discussion. There was no discussion. The discussion was closed. The motion was voted on and carried 9 to 0, a unanimous vote in favor of changing weird, odd and or strange to unique, unusual, and or extra-ordinary. So I (as a collective of the voices in my head) consider myself unique, unusual, and or extra-ordinary.

That is why I logged onto Polls & Surveys. I do not know who is the most eccentric or weird - I may have to choose No Best Answer.

Yeah and most of them are on YA! I had a friend that had been committed to a mental institution and went to visit him. They were allowed to go outside every two hours for ten minutes for a smoke break. This one lady, who appeared to be in maybe her late 50's or early 60's was a very heavy, heavy chain smoker and the facility would only allow her two cigarettes per break. I was sitting by my friend when she came out to smoke. I am not exaggerating, she would take maybe five to six puffs and the cigarette would be gone. I have never seen anyone smoke a cigarette all the way to the filter like she did.
The next thing I knew, that lady came running toward me about the time I put my cigarette to my lips, she grabbed my very long hair, pulled it so hard she caused me to jerk my head back and she snatched that cigarette away from me. The whole action took less that 10 seconds to occur. It scared the living daylights out of me!

Actually yes I do I find it very intresting. Cause most people if you just listen and show intrest they will tell you there life stories and you can learn from them. I met one woman at a Drs office who was so nice she asked me where the best place to get her car washed and I told her and then she told me about her husband and how he died and that he used to take care of the car and such . She was prlly like in her upper 60's and she started talking about old times with her husband. About that time the nurse called my name to see the doc. When I came out to get in my car after my appointment. I saw the older lady sitting in her car and she was crying. It ended up she cried on my shoulder for like an hour. And every since then I go and see her and take her food and candy and we go shopping and Its like I am the daughter or grand daughter she never had. I think its very cool.

All the time, drives my husband crazy. Sometimes, if you're really nice to them, they can get a bit stalkerish, which can be freaky. Harvy is definately the oddest I've met, he's the type of guy you end up seeing taken away on the news with the neighbors saying, "He was such a quiet guy, I had no idea....."

Absolutely. I was visiting in New York City (from Wisconsin - mind you) and found the homeless people fascinating in a sad sort of way.
I'm not being rude...seriously. When you are from Wisconsin and think about Manhattan it seems like another planet.
I was in Grand Central Station waiting for my train and there was one fellow who was walking in circles and patting his head (not rubbing his belly at the same time) and I said "Hi there."
He didn't respond...he just kept patting and walking.
I'll never forget the homeless people. It makes me wonder what happened to them to take them to that place.

I work in a shopping mall.
There's this 30-40yr old guy who comes in and hangs out during the eves and brings his cordless, HOME phone...he sits alone in the food court and talks on it (sometimes he just sits and talks to no one)...then he wanders around the mall telling the store employees about how he gets great stock tips from GOD.
Purty wacky if you ask me!
We have nick named this guy "jesus".

this guy i met online (myspace. he was in my city) a year ago. or maybe i'd be the weird one. i pretended to know him and then was all like "i'm stalking you" and he played along and flirted with me for hours. and after talking for like a month we met at the mall, chilled and became great friends. but yeah talking to him just gets me so hyper and happy. no one else does that to me. and he actually has that affect on everyone he knows :]
