Mac. It doesn't have as many holes in the programming and they don't get viruses.

From the start, Macintosh were always more stable, but sometimes were a little bit expensive, and they werent compatible with a lot of programs because most people used windows. Now, Mac osx is by far the most stable operating system you can get publicly, and takes much less computer power to run than vista. With the new macintosh computers out at apple, you can get computers to easily run OS X, Windows XP/Vista, and linux, all at the same time and switch back and fourth without having to reboot each time, and it doesn't slow down the computer enough to limit anything. There is nothing i can think of that the new macs cant run.

This really is a dumb question. Microsoft and the PC are the best. Macs are more and more being phased out. They are more like PC's now then ever. Macs suck. I don't know much about Linux, but even that sucks. The best technology is the one with the most resources, money, time, and users. Microsoft gets a bad rep, but almost everyone has used a PC in their life and and only a few switch to macs . I think the world may switch to Linux because of the cost. Mac's are dying.

I would take an OS X, but give me Windows any day if the alternative is any lesser than Mac OS X.

Microsoft / Windows works perfectly for some people and does exactly what they need to do. This option also offers some functionality that Apple computers do not.
