I m selected as a Vocational Instructor (Printing and Book Binding) for physically handicapped persons, a central govt job. scale is 5000-8000/- gross i will get around 14000/-. My nature of duties is to guide properly to all physically handicapped persons in field of printing and book binding. (a teaching job) Non transferable. Posting is in valley of kashmir i.e. SRINAGAR (jammu and kashmir).
Presently i m working as a assistant (printing) in an autonomous body at pay scale 4000-6000/- and getiing gross around 11000/- with approx all benifits of central govt.
Which is better for me for ???????
Srinagar or Delhi.
I have a own house in Delhi and i m unmarried living with all family members (Parents, Brothers & sisters).
I am totally confused !!!!!

comparison between the 2 offers:
Delhi : Have own house, family, friends, bigger city, social security, no terrorism,
Srinagar : The job at Srinagar is no doubt giving extra income.. but only 3000 and that too at the cost of loosing family, friends,no social network, have to live alone incurring extra living expenditure, new city and ofcourse security threat.
What do you think you should opt for? If the pay at srinagar woul have been say 19000 or 20000, it would have been a GO ! But only for 3000, I do not think you should opt for that.
I think you should stay at Delhi.

Delhi job is better for you as you have a own house in Delhi and unmarried living with all your family members (Parents, Brothers & sisters).

dear sun deep,
according to me you should go and join Srinagar job. because its having dedication , life, money, change of environment, change of place, change of people and you can learn more and much better than you stay at your home with your family. go their and see how people use to live their.
one should not stick to only one place always..Chang is the start of some thing new and a new life.

if you are really good and if you are a good natured person you should defenitely help the handicaped students ,so in my point of view srinagar is the best

In my opinion, to gain something you have to loose something. Definitely you have to compromise a lot for the sake of job security and also it is not safe to travel every week from K to D. In my opinion, you can write to the PM office with a copy of your employment letter and request for a posting in Delhi.
DON'T GIVEUP AND DON'T DELAY. SUBMIT YOUR LETTER TO THE PM OFFICE IMMEDIATELY IN PERSON AND ALSO BY REGISTERED POST.
