At 20 your pretty much done with growing.
Dont go to quacks that promise quick fix remedies for attaining height, it just wont work.
Whether it is gene dependant or not is inconsequential at this juncture.
The most laughable remedy was the one they showed on the commercial TV where you applied some ointment/ lotion to the soles of your feet and grew like magic. I bet these idiots reckon the human body is like a tree, you water the roots and provide minerals and it will grow, hahaha.
Anyway get real! and get that though out of your mind, that you need to increase your height. Instead concentrate on staying healthy, exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet (I dont mean starve yourself), groom yourself properly. Your skin tone and appearance will automatically be appealing rather than look like some kind of coconut tree!

The problem is the you're almost finished growing. Granted at age 19 I was just 4' 10" tall by age 22 I made it to my present height of 5' 11".
I am curious though. Why do you mix standard and metric measurements???

5'4" is good one. But sorry, calcium has already been locked for any lateral dynamics in your good self. Enhancements are possible by a 4-inch stool (small table) - which can be magnificiently added at the brains - not at the feet - that is by acquiring additional pleasing manners, care for downtroden, love for nature, and respect for the nation. Even the tallest persons are unable to equip theirselves easily with this.

Height is not totally gene dependent.Exercises and nutrition play an important role. At twenty, you still have scope for increasing your height.Take foods rich in Calcium.Do stretching exercises every evening.Practise SURYANAMASKAR regularly.

Women *can* continue to grow on into their early 20's, but there's nothing you can do to control it. You can, however, create the appearance of greater height by working on your posture. Don't slouch. Keep your back straight, tummy lightly pulled in for support, and keep your shoulders back. You'd be amazed at the wonders that good posture and the right cloths can do.

you can have surgery but doctors wont really do it unless you are like 4 ft and under, it requires your leg bones to be sawn in half and you have to streach the skin on your legs and the bone grows to fit, it costs thousands and its very very painful. you should have gotten human growth hormone when you were ten or so. but i dont see anything wrong with five ft four, thats what i am.
