There was an incident on tv. Where 3 girls attacked only one. I've seen these incidents on tv several times before. Don't you think by hanging such people. The rates of these inhuman and barbaric crimes would decrease considerably and these people would be removed form the populations' gene pool very effectively ?

Some of you think; Oh,they're still just school gils or it;s just too barbaric. But,what about what they did yo that one girl ? What about the victims safety,emotional and physical scaring ? This incident will live with her forever. She will now have panic attacks and not be able to live without living in fear for the rest of her life. Due to this one experience inflicted on her by these school girls who tried to kill her. I don't think it's fair that they should be allowed to have boyfriends,husbands,proms,families or anything that this one girl who was the victim may never get even if she does everything right in her life.
That was not normal school girl behaviour.
They had no respect for human life.

I think that these wannabe punks should be handed over to tne families of the victims. If there is no family a bullet from any concerned citizen should do

No, capital punishment should be reserved for the taking of life (except in self-defense and/or defense of others), maiming, and for rape. Even here, we can be humane, provide the last rights, and offer them a choice for their demise: hanging, electric chair, firing squad, gas, or lethal injection.
The three bullies should be placed in a public stock for ridicule and possible spanking commensurate with their age. If the girls are under 12 and have parents, the parents should be liable for reasonable damages in a court of law. If the girls are over 12, they should be responsible for damages in a court of law and be forced to work until all damages have been paid, as well as being pilloried. As often as we hear about jobs that Americans won't do, how about putting our malcontents on the farms and in the cheap labor, sweat shops or in work camps to do some productive work, pay off their debts to society, and to send Pedro and Chiquita back to Mexico.

Hanging people in a public square would be going backwards in time, and that would be barbaric and inhumane. However, this type of crime has to stop--it does happen all the time. The criminals should be given very long jail sentences, and any chance of parole, for them, should be considered very carefully.
I detest violent crime--even more so when one person is attacked by a group. The government needs to warn potential offenders that they will be prosecuted, will spend a long time in prison, and will be watched at all times.

yes. I think public punishment is good in the sense that then others will think more than twice before they go harm another person. This will be out of shame as well as out of fear of punishment.
however, whether one should get capital punishment should be decided by a court of law as the case maybe. Some may view public punishment to be going back in time & barberic (when it's capital punishment). Therefore, i think the ruling judge should be given the liberty to rule whether the punishment (capital, wipping, etc) should be public or not as the case maybe.

oh of course if you want to continue the mindless violence and engage in the same behavior that they did. change can only happen if the perpetrators are willing to change and until that time perhaps they should be removed from society but given knowledge and the Chance to change. of course that means time and effort by society as well the funds toward rehabilitation ans social programs.

Probably not hanged, that's a bit too graphic. A public "stoning" would be nice. I'd be first in line to get rid of some of that scum.
