I think it basically comes down to three teams as of right now. It would be the Wizards, Cavaliers, or Pistons. And when you break each team down, you'd have to go with the Pistons. Although the Wizards have Arenas and Caveliers have Lebron, the Pistons are just a great team with a lot of good players. They still have 4 players in their starting lineup that won the nba championship not too long ago. Also, the addition of Chris Webber should definitely help their frontcourt. This team has all the experience and talent to make it to the Eastern Conference finals and as of right now the best team in the east. Right now, I'm excluding the Heat until Shaq returns.

The best team is the Washington Wizards. Gilbert, Caron, and Antawn. Detroit is a close 2nd. either way, they'll have no chance against the west this year. Last years miami team won because of a rookie Dallas coach making rookie mistakes.
