I say talk to your bank and if you banked with them for a while they should have no problem cashing them for you.Think about it there has to be a way to cash them there is alot of people that have business in other country's and do business with people in the states.

If you get Travelers checks, that should be no problem. However you have to make sure the company accepts them because I believe some banks charge a fee to cash them because they have to verify that it is authentic (due to many scams)

I believe if you get a US postal money order International there is no problem cashing them. Make sure it is international or there will be a big fee to just cash it :(

Credit Cards and Travelers Checks issued by U.S. Banks cannot be used in Cuba because of U.S. Laws against Trade with Cuba. You can take U.S. currency and exchange at any currency exchange, banks and most hotels (avoid exchanging at hotels as this is a ripoff). Check the U.S. State Department website as well as the Cuban Bank websites for current exchange rates. The Cubans charge an additional 10% fee to exchange USD to CUC (the Cuban Tourist Currency).
