If I were up in DC, I'd say to hell with all those other countries. We made Japan a freaking world power, we're shooting China's market into the sky, and otherwise saved other countries from being dominated by some Dicto-Commi regime.

And not even a thank you?

VanBlueBoy: While I your altruism is good, China didn't give us anything back. Japan didn't give us anything back. No one gave us anything back. We'd throw ourselves to blanket our neighbors fire, but the neighbor would probably go hide in bed while we were robbed raped and murdered.

Not everyone agrees the Americans are doing good all the time.
Especially the majority of the Muslim world. That's like 1 000 000 0000 people who call themselves Muslims. You may think you're doing good. When in fact others think you're doing bad or even very bad. I don't think the survivers of the American Military's accidental bombings of family homes in Iraq. While the families were still in there is considered a good kind of action by the Iraqis and Muslims worldwide.

No country can survive without the co-operation of the other countries. That is why Americans have to do "good."

For example, if Middle East refuse to supply oil to the US What do you thing would happen?

Another example is China. They tried to be self-sufficient before. Did you see how bad they were?

If you don't help your neighbor, do you think your neighbor would help you when someone break into your home?

I am sure the American don't just help the other countries for nothing. They always get some benefit from them.
