Once upon a time they said 30, but now I think it's more like 40.
I have rather severe PCOS and was told before I got pregnant with my first that it was unlikely I would ever have children without help. However; at age 22 I delivered a beautiful 8 pound 6 ounce baby girl. After that, I remarried, and during that marriage was even on clomid and charting BBT for 3 years or more with no children. I am now married to my third husband (long story there lol). He was also married before for 10 years with no children so when we got married, children, although very much wanted were not expected. One month before our first anniversary, and ON my daughter's 11th birthday we found out we were havign a baby. At 33 years old I again delivered, this time a very healthy 9 pound 3 ounce baby boy! Both children are my world and I hope there will be another in the future(just not too far in the future lol). I just had to learn that doctor's don't know everything and that the ultimate decision as to when children come into the world is not always up to us.
If you are posting this question because you are trying to concieve, I wish the best for you!

I had my first son at 21. I am now 23 and Infertil. There are many different reasons and conditions that cause infertility even unexplaned infertility. So it can happen at any age for any reason. I have PCOS where ovulation stops. Drugs like Chlomid will help me ovulate again hopefuly to concieve again. We'll see though. Good luck!!!
