after visiting Phillipines and China just a few weeks ago... they don't compare. Though the Phillipines have a vast english speaking population, their infrastructure is very poor and doesn't have the means to support massive economic growth. Educated Fillipinos tend to want out of the country and seek work visas in other countries such as Canada or US.

The Philippine economy is stable as there is a vast natural resources to still be harnessed with average population growth comparing that to china/india. Industry is blooming after agriculture and there are lots of job offered.

Philippines is a stable country..Lots of problems like many countries, but will be resolved in time. People in the Philippines can make it even a better country, for Filipinos have better traits I think, more disciplined, trustworthy, responsible, and values family.
